I always used to tease my firends with thier 2600 systems. They would make fun of my disc and I would ask them how many axis directions they had. Um 8.... was the reply. Hmmm I have twice as much control as you...

Actually, regardless of whether you think it's solid or hollow, once you start talking about its density, you're definately asserting it exists. His statement about the interior not existing is an extremely interesting metaphysical view, but it turns out that's not really what he meant, I think.
There is a philosophical school of thought that says that only the observable exists, and by observable I don't mean observable with our present means but observable in principle. It's an interesting philosophical view, and roughly equivalent to the view called materialism, a form of monism which asserts that only material things exist. The interior of a black hole presents an interesting case for this metaphysical view, because what lies beyond the event horizon is not part of the observable universe. If one held this particular metaphysical view, it would indeed follow that the interior of a black hole does not exist. This isn't as bizarre as it sounds -- we can mathematically talk about 50-dimensional space, but that doesn't mean it exists. Likewise, just because we can define a region of space doesn't mean it exists. So there's nothing contradictory in the notion that there is literally nothing inside a black hole, that its interior, the region of space delimited by its event horizon, is literally nonexistent. It is indeed an interesting metaphysical view. But apparently I was mistaken in attributing this view to Principia, since he didn't apparently mean that when he said the interior did not exist. What exactly he meant, I'm unsure at this point, since you can't both assert it doesn't exist and then talk about its density, but in any case I think I was inserting more into his statement than he actually meant by it...
I'm also unsure of which theory about the interiors of black holes he's going with. The one I'm familiar with asserts that it's mostly empty space, with an infinitely dense singularity at the center, which doesn't jive with the description of the interior being solid. For the interior to be solid, something would have to stop the stellar collapse at the point it reaches its Schwartzchild radius, and it was my understanding that no known force of nature could do that. If it has enough mass to collapse within its Schwartzchild radius, it should inevitably collapse down to a singularity, leaving the interior of the black hole to be mostly empty space.

In my defense, and Ms. E's, I've always found that True beauty cannot be improved upon...
I almost asked for the full version of that picture, but looked at my ring, and realizing there was a pretty signifigant (literal) ocean between us anyways decided against it.

With the recent update to your Avatar I will have to retract my vote.. It wasn't the "attractivness" of the Av that made it special, it was the calmness in the eyes. Now, its' just.. um.. not the same. I
